We have over 100 shareholders and we are extremely grateful to each of them for supporting us by buying a share. Shares cost £10 each. They allow shareholders to have a vote at our AGM and to stand on our management committee. In this way, Gaydon Village Store is held accountable and shaped by the community that it serves. To buy a share simply email us and our Secretary will contact you.
Owning a share in your community-run shop allows you one vote at the AGM and therefore a say in how the shop is run and any future plans or proposals. But you also gain a sense of pride in becoming more engaged and involved in your village life and your local community. Our volunteers have all said how many more people they have got to know through being involved!
